No problems for me on Win7 and it is Mod friendly also unlike the previous versions this is settup for 64x OS and it defaults for 4gb unlike the previous pathetic 1.8gb memory. If it is, I'd highly consider buying it, because as of right now, I can't get back into it. Not intending to bash Steam or anything here, I'm just wondering if the GOG version is more stable. I know there's guides and whatnot, and believe me, I've spent hours trying to tweak things to work, and the best I've ever gotten with the Steam version was a game that would crash so often I couldn't progress further than Level 1.
I own the game on Steam, and it crashes constantly, and sometimes doesn't start at all, seemingly of its own will. I know GOG tends to tweaks such games to make them more compatible with modern systems, and I was wondering if this was the case, here. As Fallout 3 was created prior to the release of Windows 7 and 8, it is not tested or. Rockbiter68: I was just wondering if this game has had some of its compatibility issues ironed out. Edit: Sorry mods, I should have put this in troubleshooting lol.
