I needed all 3 steps to make it work, simply doing 2&3 did not resolve the issue.Īs an additional problem, when I woke the laptop from sleep, it would always wake into a BSOD. I finally managed to fix the touchpad issue by:ġ) installing the Serial IO Driver (30.100.1915.1) from Ģ) setting the Fn button to “Function key” in BIOS, andģ) pressing Fn+F7 to enable the touchpad in windows. Once Windows was up and running the Wifi issue was automatically fixed, but the touchpad still did not work. I had to resort to using a cable to connect to the internet for the install process. First problems started when Windows did not recognize the touchpad, and during installation also the WiFi. I proceeded to install Windows 10 booting from a USB drive. My Asprie 5 (NX.HMPEU.005) laptop came without an OS - not even a recovery partition, just an empty SSD.
